3 DAYS GORILLA TREK MGAHINGA

A fantastic 3 Days Gorilla Encounter

3 days gorilla trek Mgahinga is a short gorilla safari to Mgahinga gorilla national park, where one gorilla family has been habituated. The Nyakagezi group is composed of 9 members including 3 silverbacks; Mark, Mathew and Mafia living together in harmony. The gorilla family has a home range that’s primarily located within the park. It is always being monitored by UWA rangers and trackers, therefore it is guaranteed that you will see the gorillas there.

The park doesn’t receive as many visitors when compared to more popular destinations like Bwindi Impenetrable Forest or Rwanda’s Volcanoes National Park Where we offer a 4 days double gorilla tracking (Rwanda-Uganda).This can translate into a more intimate and serene trekking experience, with less than 8 people in a group.

Highlights

  • Gorilla trekking
  • Stopover at Equator for photo-shoots
  • Virunga Volcanoes
  • Scenic Road Trip
