Detailed Itinerary
Day One – Drive from Entebbe to Lake Mburo National Park
We start our 6 days gorillas and wildlife heading southwards through the lash greens and endless plains of south western Uganda. Several interesting photographic stops including at the Equator and continue to check in our lodge for your hot lunch as you prepare for the afternoon boat cruise on the lake Mburo. After a 2/3-hour boat, you have a game drive as you search for antelopes, giraffes, Zebras, buffaloes, hyenas, leopards and many bird species that have recorded here. Dinner and overnight

Day Two – Morning game drive and transfer to Bwindi national Park
Lake Mburo National Park is Uganda’s smallest national park covering 370 square kilometers but also one of the most amazing parks famous for the density of antelopes and Zebras. The park has thirteen lakes that are part of the Lake Mburo Conservation area with five inside the park, which makes it the perfect destination for wildlife to thrive not forgetting over 340 bird species that have recorded here.
After breakfast, we will have a game drive as we search for the wildlife of lake Mburo national park such as elands, topis, bushbucks, zebras, giraffes and among others before exiting the park to drive to Bwindi impenetrable national park. Dinner and overnight in Bwindi.

Day Three – One Hour Gorilla encounter in the dense jungles of Bwindi
After an early breakfast, your guide will drive you to the briefing center of Uganda Wildlife Authority to join other clients for a general detailed briefing about the rules and regulations of gorilla tracking. The briefing starts at 7:00am and at 8:00am you embark on the search for the gorilla family you have been allocated. After you have located gorillas, you will have one full hour observing them in their natural habitat. After the magical hour with the gorillas, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight in Bwindi.

Day Four – Scenic drive to Queen Elizabeth National park- Kasenyi Sector
After breakfast, you will drive to Queen Elizabeth national park where you will have a late lunch, check in and head out for the evening game drive. The park’s ecosystem is characterized with sprawling savanna plains, sparkling crater lakes, thickets, rainforests, riverine and swamps hosting over 600 bird species and 98 mammal. Watch out for elephants, cape buffalo, leopards, hyenas, lions, Uganda kobs. Its now that your 6 days gorilla and wildlife safari comes to life. Dinner and overnight at the lodge in Kasenyi sector.

Day Five – Morning Game drive and afternoon boat cruise on Kazinga channel.
After breakfast, you will take on a game drive looking for wildlife. Queen Elizabeth national park has a big numbers of kobs and other antelopes, which sustain good numbers of predators such as lions, leopards, spotted hyenas. After your morning game drive, you head back to lodge for hot lunch later on take a scheduled boat trip on the Kazinga channel that connects lake Edward and lake Gorge. Kazinga channel is famous for the population of hippos and is said to have the highest population of hippos on the African continent. Other wildlife can be sighted here including the African elephant, the Cape buffalo, waterbucks, birds, and reptiles like the Nile crocodile among others. Dinner and overnight at the lodge in Kasenyi sector.

Day Six – Driver back to Entebbe (Optional Chimpanzee tracking)
After breakfast, we depart from Queen Elizabeth national park to Entebbe for your international flight. This journey is about 7 hours with several stops for leg stretch and coffee break. However, those interested in chimpanzees, we have an optional activity track chimpanzees in Kyambura Gorge (not included in the cost), which is part of Queen Elizabeth National Park or Kalinzu which is just a few kilometers from the park.
